JAPAN WHO CONQUERED STILL WE LOVE

We the young ones in the Philippines

Have forgotten the atrocities

that the Japanese had inflicted on us.

We forgot the crimes of rapes,

Even of eyeballs of children

Taken out and flung to the walls!

Oh, did we forget or were the knowledge kept from us?

But when told and reminded, will we lose our cool?

And will we roar like the lioness robbed of her cubs?

Will we in our hearts turn into serpent from being a dove?

Or will we surmount the pain and pass the hate?

Will we let love to conquer all?

Will we do that to the Spaniards too

who sawed our ancestors in halves?

And stole our best lands thru hilog?

Will we do that to the Americans too

Who dumbed our minds with fluoride?

So they can secretly call us monkeys?

I’ve mentioned just one of the countless atrocities,

Abuses and treacheries that don’t belong to brotherhood...

The brotherhood they preached when the came with their religion

May the true Lord enlighten us all

That self interest will bring you curse

If it crushes the interests of others

And why did I say that?

Because at the innermost

WE ARE ONE!

Beyond and passed the external outer layers we call

Skin, cell, atoms, protons, neutrons, electrons, quarks...

Inside them is the sea that connects us all.

Without boundaries, no known walls can hold

No walls, no ceiling, no floors, no shell

WE ARE ALL ONE, CONNECTED TO GOD AND TO ONE ANOTHER!

So, what you do to them, you do it to yourself.

Because in the innermost, there is only one whole Self

All selves become one Self... has always been one Self at the innermost

The wave we discern and call thoughts or wisdom

And the wave we sense as feeling or love...

These twin waves both compose that Self!

This sole Self we may call Creator and His entire Creation!

The electromagnetic force that comes and goes the atom, proton, electron or neutron

And cannot be contained nor imprisoned by any of them or any container.

This omni-present and free-moving sea of energy called Love and Wisdom...

Is the Self that composes both Creator and Creation...

Connects both Creator and all Creations.

So how can we ever be truly separate?

And who can truly separate us?

We are only separate in body and form

But one in essence and in the innermost.
